Edgar Eugene “Gene” Maro
August 31, 1949 to December 29, 2013
We are so sad to report the passing of our beloved Gene Maro. Gene and Alice have owned Graphic Ideals (previously an Alphagraphics franchise) for over twenty years, an endeavor begun after their relocation from the Chicago area.
Gene was the driving force of the technical end of the business, and most recently was responsible for our beautiful new digital press. Although we will carry on here and work harder than before, it will not be the same without Gene.
Recently diagnosed with lymphoma, Gene never got the chance to fight it like we all knew he would. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Gene’s name to the American Cancer Society.
We will still be the great Graphic Ideals that you know and love; we’re just one less, and a little sad.
