GI LOVES PHXThis week we thought we’d highlight some of the community service activities Graphic Ideals participates in by giving time, money, goods and non-profit printing services. So we took a survey of our employees to share some of the ways we give back to non-profits and other community events in our great city. We live, work and play in the Phoenix area; in fact, the City of Phoenix is one of our best supporters and a customer!

As a printing company in phoenix, we’re yearly sponsors of the Associated Minority Contractors of America banquet and golf tournament, and we also annually support the Arizona Construction Career Days event, among other, anonymous, donations here and there.

Gene and Alice were staunch supporters of the American Heart Association for years, specifically fundraising in their neighborhood. One of our employees is at the Gold Donor Level with United Blood Services, routinely spending up to three hours at each appointment donating platelets. Another employee has participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for the past eight years, and yet another donated a vehicle to the American Diabetes Association last year!

Other activities that we have had the pleasure of participation in:

Perhaps the biggest commitment, however, actually benefits impoverished children in San Felipe, Mexico. More about that story next week…

Got an idea? We’d love to hear it!

So . . . what does your company do to show your Phoenix-love? We’d love to hear about it, and we can’t promise we won’t steal your ideas! Let us know–we could be missing out on something really special.

And, as always, remember us too when your next community or non-profit printing project comes around. You can call, come by, get a quick printing quote or submit a file and we’ll get right to work!
